The Family Supportive Housing (FSH) program of Vermont invites you to participate in an actual Community of Practice session, allowing firsthand experience of how Vermont’s Office of Economic Opportunity interacts with contracted Family Supportive Housing providers in an innovative and collaborative way. What is a Community of Practice? It is a group of folks who share common interests and obstacles, who come together to meet group goals, who share promising practices to advance the FSH program. The session will address how the Community of Practice approach supports program integrity and the development of innovative practice in Vermont’s FSH program. The session will also incorporate how monthly Practice Guidance sessions are used for program updates and ongoing training and support on pertinent topics. Through this experience you will see, hear, and feel firsthand the possibilities and positive impacts you can achieve by creating community among your program’s partners.
