Join us in this session as we discuss housing and equity challenges for new immigrants and refugees and how leveraging Medicaid resources can support these efforts. Hear from Oregon and SW Washington African Community Development Center (OSWWACDC) and their collaborative housing support model and solidarity efforts among Community-Based Minority Organizations (CBMOs). Including their role as an early adopter Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) provider through the Medicaid 1115 Waiver.
We’ll also share insights from a successful collaboration between a Medi-Cal managed care plan and a community-based organization, focusing on workforce training programs that address regional employment concerns and improve job opportunities and staff diversity in supportive housing organizations.
Gain valuable insights into innovative housing and employment solutions for immigrant and refugee communities.
