In this mini master class, presenters will outline the status of Medicaid coverage of Housing Related Services across states.  Six strategies will be defined and explained.  For example, AZ and WA have approved 1115 Waivers with Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) benefits. Both AZ and WA will share how they are implementing these new Medicaid funded housing-related benefits. AZ and WA will share ways they are leveraging these new federal funds and how they are partnering with community-based organizations and affordable housing providers. We will also engage in dialogue with the attendees related to how they can collaborate with their states around HRSN benefits. For states who are not currently pursuing 1115 waivers or HRSN framework, AZ and WA will discuss advocacy efforts housers can pursue within their states to bring in these benefits.
