DeShaun Reed, LCSW, has worked in the field of social services for 11 years working primarily with the unhoused population serving in various capacities from housing, mental health, employment and education. She holds Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Tennessee.
DeShaun Reed is the Director of Permanent Supportive Housing for Park Center. This program works to serve individuals living in Nashville who are unhoused and have a mental health diagnosis. Park Center’s Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program was the first program of its kind in Nashville and has been expanding to continue to provide support to individuals in Park Center owned independent housing and supported by Park Center’s Property Management team. The PSH program also works in partnership with Urban Housing Solutions in Nashville to provide supportive services to individuals living in their permanent supportive housing units. The PSH program is designed to provide intensive case management services to ensure members are able to maintain their independence, are able to avoid eviction, hospitalization, and incarceration.
