Mardoche Sidor, MD is a Quadruple Board-Certified Psychiatrist specializing in General Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Addiction Psychiatry. He is a member of the Black Psychiatrists of America and a past president of the Black Psychiatrist of Greater New York. Dr. Sidor has additional training in Geriatric Psychiatry, public and community psychiatry, and administrative psychiatry. He is currently a psychoanalytic candidate at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research, where he focuses on integrating psychodynamic psychotherapy into community mental health and supportive housing settings.
As the Medical Director for Urban Pathways, a nonprofit organization in NYC, Dr. Sidor is dedicated to providing care for individuals with serious mental illness and substance use disorders, particularly those affected by homelessness, justice involvement, and other social determinants of health and health disparities. He has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University for over seven years.
