Kathleen Mullin is the Director of Housing Initiatives at AmeriHealth Caritas, a Medicaid managed care organization operating in 13 states and the District of Columbia. She has been working to shape the organization’s “housing as health” strategy, in its current states and future markets, where housing is a trending requirement. Kathleen has successfully developed several partnerships, including legal services in five markets to address housing insecurity and a supportive housing collaboration with a major health system in Philadelphia. She also provides technical assistance to member-facing teams to increase their capacity for delivering housing navigation services to our member population. Prior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Kathleen held various positions in affordable housing policy & operations, non-profit administration, and real estate development, in New York, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. Kathleen has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
