What is Advocacy Day?

Advocacy Day is your chance to speak directly with state lawmakers and their staff about practical solutions that break the homelessness cycle. Together, we will highlight policies that strengthen affordable housing with supportive services, protect existing programs, and create new support for older adults and people with disabilities. Your voice matters. Lawmakers need to hear from you!

Do I need prior advocacy experience?

No prior advocacy or policy experience is required to attend! CSH will provide virtual training before the event and an orientation on the day of Advocacy Day. You will meet with your advocacy team, review key legislative priorities, and receive all the materials you need for successful conversations with legislators and their staff.

Advocacy Day Rally

Can’t join our full day event? No problem, join us for the rally! Join advocates and passionate elected officials! The rally will energize our collective group before we begin our meetings with legislators.

Rally Time: 11 AM-12 PM PT

Location: West Steps of the California State Capitol
