In focusing permanent supportive housing solely on the tenants it will serve, we often lose sight of the impact government dollars can have on local businesses. This panel presentation will overview creative public-private partnerships occurring in Los Angeles to create PSH in a way that is accessible to local developers less entrenched in the non-profit development/LIHTC space. Attendees will leave with an understanding of build to master lease models of development financing and opportunities to invest in communities by awarding government funds to diverse local contractors and insurance.
