This session will involve an interactive dive into the Housing as a Pathway to Justice (H2J) National Toolkit, a new digital resource developed by Enterprise Community Partners and The Fortune Society, that seeks to educate the affordable housing industry and non-profit service providers on fundamental barriers to housing; identify opportunities; improve equity for justice-involved individuals; and highlight innovative approaches to address existing gaps. The session will unpack the toolkit as a “how-to” guide to wide range of topics, including but not limited to overcoming common myths about people with convictions as neighbors; strategies for community engagement; accessing funding sources; and building critical partnerships.
