REGISTRATION
Are scholarships available?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer scholarships at this time. The fees collected from attendees are essential to cover the costs associated with organizing the event, ensuring that we can provide a valuable and enriching experience for everyone involved. Discounted registration is available for persons currently living in supportive housing.
Can I purchase a single day or single session registration?
Our conference budget is allocated based on the total number of registered attendees. Offering day passes or single-session attendance would significantly impact our financial planning.
By requiring full registration, we can maintain the quality of the event and ensure that all sessions are adequately funded.
Can I use Continuum of Care (CoC) Administrative funds to cover attendance?
Yes, as per the Department of Housing and Urban Development guidance funds can be used any event that has a HUD assigned speaker or TA provider. This event includes both HUD assigned speakers and providers.
Can I attend just the pre-summit or site visit?
These events are only available to persons who register for the full conference.
TRAVEL
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
We recommend taking the subway or a ride-share from the airport. Visit the hotel and travel page for more information.
Can I book a room at the Summit hotel?
Yes, we have negotiated a discounted rate at the hotel. Please note that space is limited so please book early. Book here.
Should I rent a car to get around?
We do not recommend renting a car. Much of Chicago is accessible via public transportation or walking. Parking and traffic can be challenging, so please consider this before renting or bringing a vehicle.
Hotel Parking?
The hotel has limited parking at $63 per night not including tax.
DURING THE CONFERENCE
When does registration open?
Registration will be open on Wednesday, April 23rd at 8:30am - 4:00 pm and Thursday, April 24th, 7:30am - 3:00pm
Registration is not available on Friday. Registration will be on the Ballroom floor of the conference hotel.
I signed up for a session but changed my mind. Do I have to go to the session I picked?
No. You are welcome to switch your session choice at any time. You can also choose to attend part of one session and then attend part of another. You are not required to stick to your selected schedule.
Will there be printed agendas?
We strive to reduce waste and create a sustainable conference experience, while ensuring accessibility. We will have a limited number of printed agendas for individuals who are not able to use the conference app. We ask that you only take a printed agenda if needed.
Will there be a room for nursing mothers?
Yes, we will designate a room for nursing mothers.
What meals are included?
Wednesday: Light refreshments will be served at the welcome reception. Coffee and tea will be available for pre-summit.
Thursday: Breakfast buffet served in the morning. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided.
Friday: Breakfast buffet served in the morning.

Are masks and/or vaccination required?
No, however we ask everyone to do their part in helping to reduce the spread of illness. We ask that you not attend if you are feeling unwell.
What if I have a special dietary request?
We do our best to ensure a range of options to fit most dietary needs. We may not be able to meet everyone's specific needs.
Will sessions be recorded?
No. Sessions will not be videotaped or broadcasted for future viewing.
Where can I download the conference app?
We will share information about downloading the conference app closer to the event.
Where can I find session slides or materials?
Session materials that speakers provide to the conference will be posted on the conference app and attached to session details.
I have not paid for registration yet. Can I pay on site?
All payments should be received before you arrive at the conference to ensure your registration is confirmed. Please email us at summit@csh.org if you have questions.
I am interested in attending a Pre-Summit Workshop. Can I add it to my schedule?
Yes. You can modify your registration and add a Pre-Summit session if space is available. Sign in to the app or website to update your registration. Keep in mind that Pre-Summit sessions have additional fees. If you need help, please email us at summit@csh.org
What networking opportunities will be available?
We encourage attendees to participate in the Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening and our early morning Conversation Corners. There are also options to network and make contacts using the event app. You are also able to create your own meetups and invite your fellow attendees to join you to explore the city.
Will the conference be accessible?
The hotel has accessibility for people with physical mobility needs, including ramps and elevators to all event floors. Large print agendas are available on request and limited captioning is available for sessions. Please reach out to us if you have other needs at summit@csh.org. We will do our best to make accommodations to ensure your participation.
